Pedestrian wind comfort study
CFD study on wind comfort

Actiflow undertakes Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) study to assess the pedestrian wind comfort around the proposed development. Moreover, if necessary, Actiflow provides solutions to improve the undesirable wind conditions to ensure the pedestrian comfort and safety.
These studies usually only concern pedestrian level, however, they can be extended to also cover wind comfort on the balconies and roof terraces.
All wind comfort studies comply with relevant guidelines (e.g. NEN8100 in the Netherlands, Wind microclimate guidelines for developments in the City of London) and can be used to support planning application.
