Cleanrooms

Climate control, air quality assessment, analysis of particle concentrations, ventilation and filter system design

Cleanrooms are used extensively in semiconductor manufacturing, biotechnology, the life sciences, and other fields that are very sensitive to environmental contamination. The air entering a cleanroom from outside is filtered to exclude dust, and the air inside is constantly recirculated through high-efficiency particulate air (HEPA).

Through advanced CFD simulations, we can assess the air quality inside different designs of cleanrooms according to the ISO classification. We can provide information on the three-dimensional distribution of particle concentration, air temperature, speed and based on the results, advice on the optimal layout of particulate filters and return vents.
