Last week was the week of the European championships track racing, this was the first official appearance of the Bike developed for Koga with the Project Tokyo team. The producer managed to finish two frames just before the event, and they had to be shared with three cyclists. Jeffrey Hoogland, Harrie Lavreysen and Matthijs Büchli rode them in the sprint, team sprint and keirin.
And a success it was! On Wednesday Jeffrey, Matthijs and Roy van den Berg prolonged their golden status on the team sprint. The final appearance of the new bike was on the Keirin. Both Matthijs Büchli and Harrie Lavreysen made it into the finals and fought with 5 others for the win. Harrie Lavreysen decided to take off early and rode a large gap with one and a half lap to go. The chase was led by the Russian Dmitrijev but he was only able to reach Harries rear wheel on the finish line. Büchli, was a close third and took the bronze.
